Mkayla Simons, LMSW

Are you feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to break, whether that’s anxiety, OCD, substance use, or relationships that leave you feeling drained or unsure of yourself? You may find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking, urges, or emotional highs and lows, trying to manage it all while wanting something to change.

I specialize in working with adults navigating OCD, anxiety, and substance use recovery. Many of the individuals I support are working to maintain sobriety, manage urges, and build a more stable and grounded sense of self. These challenges often show up in relationships, emotional regulation, and day-to-day functioning, making it difficult to feel fully present, confident, or in control.

I also work with clients who find themselves in recurring relationship patterns, including co-dependency and trauma bonding. Together, we explore how these patterns have developed and begin to shift them, helping you build healthier, more intentional relationships while learning how to communicate your needs more clearly and effectively.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping you understand the “why” behind your patterns while also giving you practical tools to create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we look at the full picture your past experiences, current stressors, relationships, and environment to better understand what’s shaping your experience and how to move forward in a way that feels more aligned and sustainable.

Clients often describe me as warm, down‑to‑earth, and easy to talk to. I value building a trusting, supportive relationship where you can explore your experiences, develop coping skills, and work toward growth and healing in a way that feels realistic and aligned with your life. You don’t have to navigate this season alone. I’m here to walk alongside you.
