Zabeba Badada, LCSW
Hi, I’m Zabeba Badada, LCSW, Founder, Clinical Supervisor, and Clinical Director of Phoenix Health & WellBeing.
If you’re someone who appears capable, driven, and “put together” on the outside but internally feels overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or emotionally exhausted, you are not alone. Many of the individuals who reach out to our practice are navigating demanding careers, caregiving roles, perfectionism, trauma, grief, or major life transitions while trying to hold everything together.
My clinical background includes work in trauma, addiction, chronic pain, grief, and supporting high-achieving professionals who often hold themselves to extremely high standards. I specialize in perfectionism, burnout, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and the long-term impact of chronic stress and trauma, particularly among healthcare professionals, caregivers, and helping professionals.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and integrates modalities including EMDR, Brainspotting, ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), CBT, mindfulness, and nervous system-focused interventions.
As the Founder and Clinical Director of Phoenix Health & WellBeing, my primary role is overseeing clinical care, supervision, and the overall quality of care across the practice. I work closely with our therapists through ongoing supervision, consultation, training, and clinical development to help ensure clients receive compassionate, evidence-based, and high-quality care that is thoughtful, collaborative, and trauma-informed.
My supervision style emphasizes curiosity, professionalism, accountability, and strong therapeutic relationships. I value creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clinicians feel both challenged and encouraged in their growth. I believe strong clinical work comes from ongoing learning, self-awareness, ethical practice, and the ability to engage in open, thoughtful communication.
I deeply believe that the quality of care clients receive is directly connected to how supported, developed, and aligned clinicians feel within their work. Because of this, I place a strong emphasis on clinical development, reflective practice, trauma-informed care, and helping therapists build confidence while maintaining authenticity and compassion in the work they do.
While I am not currently accepting therapy clients, I remain closely involved in client care through supervision, consultation, leadership, and thoughtful provider matching to help ensure clients are connected with the provider who best fits their needs and goals.
