Hi, I’m Cassandra Briones, LMSW

You’ve been doing your best to keep everything together, balancing work or school, relationships, and daily responsibilities, but lately it feels like too much. You’re exhausted, anxious, or burnt out, and even when things look “fine” on the outside, inside you feel overwhelmed and disconnected. You might notice difficulty focusing, tension in your body, or that your emotions feel unpredictable. I work with young adults, professionals, and women who are ready to get out of survival mode and feel more balanced and at ease in their lives. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, or relationship challenges.

Together, we’ll explore patterns that keep you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, supporting nervous system regulation and deeper healing for those who feel burnt out, hard on themselves, or struggling in relationships using EMDR for trauma and CBT for anxiety and depression.

As a first-generation Latina and trauma therapist, I understand what it’s like to carry expectations and navigate complex family dynamics while trying to find your own path. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to rewrite your story. Healing doesn’t mean erasing what happened, it means learning to trust yourself again.

My Approach

My approach is trauma-informed and focused on helping you understand how stress and trauma can affect your nervous system, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, we’ll develop practical skills to manage these responses and strengthen your sense of safety and stability. We may also integrate EMDR, CBT, CPT, or Narrative Exposure Therapy to process painful experiences, along with mindfulness, or ACT to support continued healing, balance, and growth.
