The Kind of Care We Believe In

By Zabeba Badada, LCSW | Founder & Clinical Director, Phoenix Health & WellBeing

To our current and future clients,

If you’re considering therapy with us, I want you to know how deeply we value that step.

Whether you are seeking support for trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, OCD, burnout, or a major life transition, reaching out requires courage. It requires hope. And it requires a willingness to begin something that may feel unfamiliar. We do not take that lightly.

At Phoenix Health & WellBeing, we are a small, trauma-informed, integrative mental health practice. Our approach is both modern and holistic, rooted in neuroscience, evidence-based care, and the belief that healing happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to change.

Many of the individuals we serve are professionals, healthcare workers, caregivers, high-achievers, and helpers. They are strong for others but often exhausted themselves. Over time, chronic stress, trauma, perfectionism, or grief can dysregulate the nervous system. That dysregulation may show up as anxiety, depression, panic, intrusive thoughts, irritability, emotional numbness, or a constant sense of overwhelm.

We believe therapy is one of the most powerful ways we help our community heal, grow, and overcome trauma and nervous system exhaustion. Therapy is not just about talking — it is about rewiring patterns, building safety in the body, and changing how the brain responds to stress.

Our clinical work includes trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD treatment, DBT-informed skills, and mindfulness-based processing. These approaches are not chosen randomly, they are grounded in research and designed to create measurable, lasting change.

We also offer medication management through our psychiatric nurse practitioners as part of a collaborative, wraparound model. Not every client needs medication. However, for individuals whose anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress symptoms feel overwhelming, medication can help stabilize the nervous system so therapy can be more effective. Our approach is integrative, combining therapy and, when appropriate, medication to support the whole person.

Healing is a process of retraining the brain and regulating the nervous system. That requires patience. It requires support. And it requires a space where you are not rushed.

We are intentional about our therapist-matching process because the right therapeutic relationship matters. As a boutique practice, we prioritize quality over volume. We collaborate closely as a team, engage in supervision and consultation, and take every part of your care seriously.

We value working with clients who are ready to engage in the process, individuals who want to understand their patterns, practice new skills, and commit to growth even when progress is not linear. When you show up willing to do the work, we will meet you there with structure, steadiness, and care.

Whether you are seeking trauma therapy, anxiety treatment, OCD support with ERP, ADHD therapy, grief counseling, or medication management in Arizona, our goal is to help you feel safe enough to grow.

Because when the nervous system feels supported, healing becomes possible.
When healing becomes possible, growth becomes sustainable.
And when growth becomes sustainable, your life begins to feel more aligned.

We would be honored to walk alongside you.
