Insurance and Self-Pay Options
We accept Aetna and UnitedHealthcare. Most psychiatric providers accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, with limited Cigna availability. Participation and coverage vary by provider and plan.
Integrated Mental Healthcare
Medication management and therapy are available together or separately, depending on your needs.
Integrated Care, Personalized to You
Medication can be helpful, but thoughtful psychiatric care involves more than selecting a prescription.
Our psychiatric nurse practitioners take time to understand how your symptoms may be influenced by sleep, nutrition, physical health, stress, daily routines, relationships, substance use, hormonal changes, behavioral patterns, and past experiences.
Depending on your needs, your treatment plan may include:
Medication, when clinically appropriate
Education about your symptoms and treatment options
Recommendations related to sleep and daily routines
Nutrition, movement, and wellness considerations
Behavioral and lifestyle changes
Ongoing monitoring of symptoms, progress, and medication response
Collaboration with your therapist or other healthcare providers
Referrals for therapy, medical evaluation, or specialized services when appropriate
Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your care and develop a treatment plan that supports meaningful, sustainable improvement in your daily life.

Treatment recommendations are based on your symptoms, health history, clinical needs, preferences, and your provider’s professional scope of practice.
Your initial psychiatric evaluation
Your initial evaluation with a psychiatric nurse practitioner provides time to understand your current concerns and develop a comprehensive clinical picture.
Your provider may ask about:
Your current symptoms and how they affect your daily life
Your mental health and treatment history
Current and previous medications
Physical health and medical history
Sleep, nutrition, movement, and daily routines
Family mental health history
Substance use
Relationships and support systems
Personal preferences and treatment goals
After the evaluation, your provider will discuss their clinical impressions and recommendations with you. Recommendations may include medication, therapy, behavioral or lifestyle changes, collaboration with another healthcare professional, or further evaluation.
Completing a psychiatric evaluation does not automatically mean that medication will be prescribed. Your provider will discuss the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives of any recommended treatment so you can make an informed decision about your care.
Ongoing medication management
Follow-up appointments give you and your provider time to monitor your symptoms, daily functioning, possible side effects, and response to treatment.
Your provider may adjust your treatment plan based on your progress, concerns, preferences, and changing needs. Do not start, stop, or change a medication without first consulting the prescribing provider.
